Actually to some of our kind this place is like a second living room… A place to meet friends and hang out.

In Jan’s favorite Hamburg-based record store Smallville, he found some strange-looking guy hanging on the wall looking at him… which brought me back to a nice little idea:
First of all, if you have similar pics from your local record store please send them to us, we are desperate to see them!!! (yes, we still need that little-extra-ego-push…!) Especially if you live somewhere else besides Germany on this beautiful planet. We’ll feature the results definitely here.
Which brings me to another nice blog: Yadogg
Check it! It is an amazing blog with pictures of record covers, just with a little “twist” to it.
So what I am trying to say is, if you want to pose with any of the WHITE faces covers, feel free and definetly send a shot to us! (or post it on Yadogg.) The best picture will receive a WHITE 003 copy as finished product.

Bar 25 was nice last weekend. The boys rocked the Bar until “high noon” on a friday night… (on fridays they tend to close around 8 am!!!). I planned on not staying sober that night, but somehow I was pretty smashed when I returned home saturday morning… anyway here are some impressions of that night (a little delayed…I know):

“Ich war mir sicher, dass mindestens zehn Label White heißen, das scheint aber ein Trugschluss zu sein. Die zweite EP dieses Labels aus Berlin überzeugt mich noch mehr als die erste davon, dass das eins der ganz großen Labels des Jahres werden könnte. “Zahara” jedenfalls ist mit dem klingelnden Sound und der strange verschliffenen Stimme ein Hit der Detroitminimalismus und Dial über dem Himmelbett als fluoresziernde Zimtsterne hängen hat, und sich vor lauter wohlfühlender Fluffigkeit einfach nicht mehr woanders hin bewegen kann als auf den Dancefloor. Butterweicher Killertrack. Und der heißt noch nicht mal “Fluffer” wie die Rückseite, die mir übrigens einen Hauch zuviel Triolen hat.
