In the winter of 1997, two German guys started mixing different ambient and strange-noise records just for the hack of it, but soon realized that there was some magic to their music. Today, Schlafcola has become one of the most relevant German chill-out acts, and have already played on the legendary HR3 Clubnight Show, as well as at various festivals throughout Europe, such as the VooV Experience, Fusion, Excalibur and many more. While mixing, they also work with sampling units and effect boards to achieve more a distinct and harmonic soundscape that allows their audiences to drift to outer spaces. But don't fall asleep - although they have been getting mainly attention as a chill-out act, as DJ professionals they know how to boogie as well as, preferably with dubby house sounds. Seriously, these guys are pure dope.
